Gewaeght Café is an old-fashioned and cozy pub, located on the Nieuwmarkt (ancient city center) in Amsterdam. The unique collection of paintings, records, memorabilia and of course the music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s will bring you back to those decades as if it were yesterday.

All year round, 7 days a week, you can relish a delicious breakfast, lunch or a quick bite. Or just relax with a nice cup of coffee while enjoying the golden oldies  that are being played, including the original video clips.

Gewaeght Café regularly organizes theme parties. Major football matches of the Dutch Premier League, European Championships, World Cup and Champions League are presented on big screen. Check our agenda and Facebook page regularly for upcoming events.
